Kidderminster's groundsman has finished runner-up in the Outgrounds Groundsman of the Year Award. Mark Wakefield was rewarded for the quality of the wickets he produced for Worcestershire's games at Chester Road.
Kidderminster staged five county matches following the freak mid-summer floods at New Road.
Despite the popularity of Worcestershire's return to Chester Road after five years there will not be a Championship game there next summer.
