Warwickshire seamer Naqaash Tahir has signed a new two-year contract at Edgbaston, with an option for a third year, subject to form and fitness. The 25-year-old has come through the Edgbaston ranks and has taken 117 first-class wickets in 47 appearances since making his debut in 2004. Bears director of cricket Ashley Giles said: "Naqi has been impressive this season and deserves his contract. "He is one of our most skilful bowlers and has matured greatly." Tahir added: "I see my future with Warwickshire as they have helped develop my talent since I was young. "I am delighted to commit myself for the foreseeable future and hope to contribute to the Bears' success over the coming seasons."
