Hartlepool United striker David Foley has returned to the club after he picked up an ankle injury in Barrow's 0-0 draw with Wrexham on Monday.
Foley, 22, was on a month's loan at Holker Street but this injury has cut short his spell with the Blue Square Premier side.
"He's just turned his ankle and will be out for three weeks," Pools boss Chris Turner told the club's website.
The Wrexham game was the last of three appearances Foley made for Barrow.
