Scotland will face an inexperienced Kenyan side in next month's ICC Intercontinental Cup semi-final. Although the Kenya Cricket Association have settled a strike by a group of 13 players, they have decided not to recall them for the game in Sharjah.
Kenya will also be without skipper Hitesh Modi, who is getting married in Nairobi the day after the game.
The captaincy has been handed to Ragheb Aga, a 20-year-old seamer who has only played six first-class games.
Scotland by contrast have added experience to their squad with the inclusion of all-rounders Dougie Brown and Gavin Hamilton.
The pair, who have both played international cricket for England, who have been added to the team which secured a place in the last four with an eight-wicket win over Ireland in Dublin two months ago.
The match against Kenya will take place from 16-18 November, with Canada taking on the United Arab Emirates in the other semi.
The winners will meet in the final, which begins on 21 November.
