Welsh Dragons 154-2 (28 overs) beat Scotland 151-9 (40 overs) by eight wickets

A Gareth Rees half-century and an all-round contribution by Jim Allenby helped Glamorgan to a Clydesdale Bank 40 Group B victory against Scottish Saltires at the Swalec Stadium.

Scotland were restricted to 151 for nine in their 40 overs after winning the toss and electing to bat.

The Dragons then reached their target of 152 with 12 overs to spare.

Rees hit 60 not out from 81 balls and Allenby, who took three for 16, struck the winning runs to end on 39 not out.
