Ferley returned to Kent from Notts on a two-year contract |
Kent spinner Rob Ferley will be out of action for a month as he is to undergo knee surgery on Friday. The 27-year-old, who re-joined Kent from Nottinghamshire, recently suffered a small tear on his right knee. Physio Nimmo Reid said: "It is a fairly simple process to remove and he should be back in four weeks time - if all goes according to plan. "It's a fairly common injury, sustained by bowlers, and we expect him to make a swift recovery."
