Northamptonshire players and staff are looking forward to the arrival of Australia for their three-day match. The teams drew a two-day game during the 2005 Ashes tour when Northants' Stephen Peters was 12th man for England at Old Trafford on the same tour. "It's a big game. The guys will be looking forward to playing against arguably the best in the world," Peters told BBC Radio Northampton. "You're going to be tested to the limit so it should be good fun." Northants chairman Martin Lawrence said: "After losing the second Test, I think the Australians will put out a strong side. | 606: DEBATE |
"They will be trying to get their players back in form". Batsman David Willey, 19, represented England in the second Under-19s Test against Bangladesh earlier this summer, and is hopeful of a starting place for the visit of the Australians. "There's a good chance I will be playing. It would be a fantastic opportunity," said Willey.
