Leicestershire coach Tim Boon said his side's bowling let them down in the FP t20 defeat against Worcestershire. The Foxes posted a challenging 171 from their 20 overs but Phil Jaques (78no) and Vikram Solanki (51no) guided Worcestershire to victory at New Road. Boon told BBC Radio Leicester: "I think that 170-odd was a good score and enough on that pitch but our bowling wasn't good enough. "Two players played in a world-class manner and we didn't create pressure." Boon added: "We faced a very good partnership and we saw what happens when two very good players get in and dominate the bowling "But there was no real pressure applied and there were one or two slips in the field and you don't win games playing like that. "It's been the story of our one-day campaign in that we have never really fired with all three skills together. "As a bowling unit we weren't quite good enough and overall our fielding in this campaign has got to improve." Leicestershire are now bottom of the North Group and, to stand any realistic chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals, need to win their last three games.
