Stephen Moore dislocated his right shoulder at Chelmsford

Lancashire batsman Stephen Moore has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder.

The opener suffered the injury while fielding during the FP t20 quarter-final defeat at Essex on Tuesday.

After seeing a specialist it was decided the 29-year-old would need to undergo surgery.

Lancashire head coach Peter Moores said "It is a big disappointment for Stephen and for the club as we approach the Championship run-in."
