Paul Horton top scored for Lancashire in the second innings with 77
Lancashire captain Glen Chapple has praised the partnership between Paul Horton and Mark Chilton after the win over Worcestershire at Old Trafford.
Horton and Chilton shared 109 runs for the second wicket on Sunday to help Lancs to a seven-wicket win.
Chapple told BBC Radio Manchester: "A 100 partnership is one of the benchmarks, one of the things you really look for in four-day cricket.
"The more 100 partnerships you make, the better you're going to do."
He added: "That gave us a great platform and VVS Laxman and Steven Croft continued it later on.
"They just had to bat and play their own game, and they played really well.
"There didn't look to be too much in the pitch although that could have been down to the way they played because we didn't feel under too much pressure sat in the dressing room watching them."
