Goulding helped Warriors to a third successive victory |
Wigan try-scorer Darrell Goulding has agreed his spell with Salford City Reds has improved him as a player. Goulding scored in the 24-22 weekend win over Catalans Dragons in his first game since returning from his loan spell at The Willows. He told BBC Radio Manchester: "I think it was probably the best thing for me. "I really enjoyed it, made some good mates and I think got my rugby better again. They're a good, sound bunch and they really made me feel welcome." He added: "I enjoyed my couple of months at Salford and, I'll be honest, before I went I didn't really know how it was at Salford because I'd been at Wigan since I was 12 and had never been away from the club."
