Du Plessis averages 20 with the bat in the County Championship |
Francois Du Plessis has spoken of how he is looking forward to scoring his first Championship ton for Lancashire. The South African all-rounder has made two 50-overs centuries this season against Derbyshire and Essex. "As soon as you score that first one, it's like a ceiling you've broken," he told BBC Radio Manchester. "I did it in one-day cricket, scoring one - and two weeks later, I scored another. Hopefully this one will come soon so I can score a bit more then." "I'm really pleased with my form this year, I've done really well so far, I think," he added. "I've done it twice, scoring 100 within the one-dayers. I'm now looking forward to getting that first 100 in the County Championship for Lancashire."
