Moores' team have taken seven batting points from three games |
Lancashire head coach Peter Moores has said his side must accept the defeat by Durham as part of the competitive nature of County Championship cricket. The Chester-le-Street reverse left the Red Rose County 24 points behind leaders Notts after five games. He told BBC Radio Manchester: "This is the third game we've lost all year so you have to take that, as you're going to play against competitive sides. "Durham are a tough side. Fortunately you play everybody twice." He added: "We'll have another go at them at some stage. "Now, we've got to pick ourselves up quickly and the key is for us to get this out of our system quickly, take anything we can from it, back our players, get stuck against Hampshire and try to get a win at Liverpool."
