Kent may still sign an overseas player in time for the FL t20 campaign.

Coach Paul Farbrace has been unable to make an overseas signing this season, largely for financial reasons.

But Farbrace told BBC Radio Kent: "It's a case of the cricket committee accepting one of our recommendations - if the finances are in place.

"As it stands at the moment - it's just a case of us keeping the committee and chief executive up-to-date with who's available and what they might cost."
