Kent batsman Martin van Jaarsveld thinks the two-wicket CB40 win over Yorkshire at Headingley on Sunday will help boost their confidence.
Yorkshire had a late scoring burst to post 230-7 from their 40 overs.
Ashley Shaw scored the winning runs for Kent with two balls to spare while Van Jaarsveld hit 74 including 20 off one Ajmal Shahzad over.
Van Jaarsveld said: "It's fantastic for the boys, to come back and beat them is great and will give us confidence."
Earlier Shahzad had been the batting hero for Yorkshire with a quick 59 not out. Alex Blake was an unlikely bowling hero bowling a double wicket maiden before ending with figures of 2-13.
Last week they smoked us in Canterbury and to come back after what happened against Glamorgan, that's great for the boys

Kent lost openers Sam Northeast (15) and Rob Key (12) early but Matt Coles was promoted up the order to three and responded with 47 at more than a run a ball.
With Kent at one stage 197-7 the win was never certain until Shaw scored the winning runs.
Van Jaarsveld added: "It was a difficult wicket to bat on, we didn't have much rhythm, but I knew if we stayed with the run rate we always knew we were in with a chance."
The over that probably turned the game in Kent's favour could also have turned the result back in Yorkshire's favour according to the Kent batsman.
"We needed a bit of momentum and we needed it. I had a big over and unfortunately I got out at the end of it," he said.
"We certainly got it that over. To get in that position and then got out, I thought it might probably cost us the game but fortunately the boys pulled us through.
