Kent batsman Martin van Jaarsveld and bowler Yasir Arafat are first and second in the latest rankings from the Professional Cricketers' Association. Van Jaarsveld tops the list overall - and the one for the Friends Provident Trophy - after his unbeaten century against Surrey at Canterbury. Team-mate Yasir Arafat is second in both lists after taking two wickets in the Surrey game, and four at Essex. The pair have helped Kent to the top of the South East group of the Trophy. The Spitfires have won five consecutive games in the competition after losing their opening two matches. Van Jaarsveld has scored two unbeaten centuries in the last three innings. After seven games in the Friends Provident the South African has scored 480 runs from 465 balls, 704 runs in all cricket. Arafat has taken 19 wickets in the Trophy and 29 in total.
