Kent amassed 337-3 from their 50 overs, with Martin van Jaarsveld and Darren Stevens scoring centuries in an unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 216.

Van Jaarsveld hit 113 from 108 balls, while Stevens fired four sixes and 10 fours in his 119 from only 77.

Butcher smashed 16 fours and a six in his 121-ball innings, but Azhar Mahmood skittled his former side with 4-40.
