Trent Johnston captained Ireland at the World Cup last year

Trent Johnson, Jeremy Bray and Andre Botha are back in the squad for Ireland's first ever Twenty20 fixtures against a Lashings XI later this month.

Former captain Johnson returns for the two friendly games on 22 June at the Oak Hill CC in Co Wicklow after taking a break from international cricket.

Peter Connell, Andrew Poynter, Andrew Britton, Gavin McKenna and Shane Getkate are new faces in the squad.

The games are preparation for August's T20 World Cup qualifiers in Belfast.
