Bracewell is in his second spell in charge of Gloucestershire |
Gloucestershire director of cricket John Bracewell insists his team can still qualify for the quarter-finals of the FP t20, despite a poor run. The West country side have won just two of their first eight games and are bottom of the South group table. "Everybody's beating each other and you have got to hope Sussex keep winning," Bracewell told BBC Gloucestershire. "We've got to start winning and we've got to find the winning way before the scar of losing gets a little too deep." One of Gloucestershire's victories came away at defending champions Sussex, the holders' only blemish on their start in the competition. | One guy can lose the game and one guy can win it - that's the nature of Twenty20 |
And to Bracewell that proves his players have the ability, but he insists the whole team needs to perform on a more consistent basis: "We've just got to get out of the losing habit , we have a good day with the bat and then we don't have a good day with the ball. "In this game one guy can lose the game and one guy can win it - that's the nature of Twenty20."
