Essex spinner Danish Kaneria says he is now back at home in English conditions after claiming 4-16 in the Friends Provident Trophy win at Glamorgan.
The Pakistan Test player only managed two wickets in his first three matches in the competition.
"I was not playing much cricket back home, I needed to settle down, and there was a bit of jet-lag to begin with," Kaneria told BBC Essex.
"It always takes time but I'm doing pretty well right now."
The 28-year-old arrived in the county at the end of April after receiving his visa and is now targeting more success in the FP Trophy, which Essex won last year.
And the team are firmly are on course for a quarter-final place after victories in four of their five group matches so far.
"With the team unity and the way we are gelling together, it would be nice to win the final at Lord's once again," Kaneria added.
