Durham batsman David Warner believes he and wicketkeeper Phil Mustard can link up well in the Twenty20 Cup after an impressive debut at Derbyshire.
The duo shared a record opening stand of 96 to guide Durham to a six-wicket win and the Australian is confident they can form a prolific opening pair.
"It's good for me and Phil, and sets the bar high for the Yorkshire game," Warner told BBC Newcastle.
"If we can keep getting off to a flier then who knows what could happen?"
Warner's arrival had promised much given his rise to fame in his homeland, smashing 89 off 43 balls against South Africa in January prior to his first-class debut for New South Wales.
However, while Warner was in action with the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League and then Australia in the ICC World Twenty20, Durham's form in the Twenty20 competition has stuttered.
And the Sydney-born left-hander, who made 50 in 30 balls against Derbyshire, is keen to make up for lost time in his spell on Wearside - starting with the visit of Yorkshire to the Riverside on Wednesday.
"We've got to treat every game as a final so the next three games are very crucial to us, and we're going to be coming out with all guns blazing," he said.
"The boys are pumped up and we've got to be focused.
"There will be different conditions at the Riverside so we'll get out there and see what happens."
