John Morris was embarrassed by the performance against Kent
Derbyshire head of cricket John Morris says his men will fight to get a result against Yorkshire on Thursday after their embarrassing record Pro40 defeat.
Monday's nine-wicket defeat to Kent came after Derbyshire were bowled out for just 60, their lowest-ever total in 45 years of one-day cricket.
But Morris told BBC Radio Derby: "We'll regroup and come back fighting against Yorkshire on Thursday.
"The last thing we want is a lacklustre performance like that."
Morris added: "It happens in sport but there's nothing positive to take from Monday at all.
"We're just a bit deflated at the moment and disappointed as this Derbyshire side has not played like that this year."
