Oxfordshire's MCCA Championship clash with Cheshire at Banbury ended in a draw after the final day's play was washed out. The home side had reached 84-1 in their second innings at the end of day two to hold a lead of 45 runs. Lee Dixon's 169 had earlier helped Cheshire recover from 74-6, with the debutant sharing a record seventh-wicket stand of 170 with Andrew Hall. Both side take 11 points from the Western Division match.
