Norfolk are on the verge of winning the Minor Counties Knockout Trophy after taking four quick wickets at the start of Staffordshire's innings. Play was delayed for four hours because of rain at Durham's Riverside ground. Martin Eccles' three wickets helped reduce Staffs to 26-4 after 9.3 overs, in reply to Norfolk's total of 257-6, when bad light stopped play. Captain Carl Rodgers (91) had put Norfolk in control, while fellow opener Ben Patston made 65. Play is set to resume at 1100 BST on Thursday.
