No play was possible on the second day of the County Championship Division Two match between Gloucestershire and Northants at Cheltenham.
Heavy overnight rain continued into the morning, leading to play being abandoned for the day.
Umpires David Millns and Tim Robinson called a halt to proceedings shortly after midday.
Northants will start day three on 175-6 in reply to Gloucestershire's 147 all out, a lead of 28.
Gloucestershire wicketkeeper Steve Snell told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:

"It's very disappointing, it's a shame that there's no play at the Cheltenham festival.
"We believe we're still in the game. We were disappointed with how we batted, but we came back into it with the ball.
"The ball has swung consistently. It's not difficult for batting, but there is something in it for the bowlers."
