Lincolnshire seize initiative on day two against Staffs

Lincolnshire opened up a big lead over Staffordshire on day two of their Minor Counties Championship Eastern Division match at Sleaford.

Resuming on 46-1, Lincs made 293 in their first innings with Conrad Louth top-scoring with 69 not out.

Staffs were then bowled out for 153 with Alex Osmond taking four wickets and Brett Houston, Alex Shepherd and debutant Carl Taylor two apiece.

At stumps Lincs were 46-0 in their second innings, a lead of 186.

Openers Dan Birch and Jim Morgan are 23no and 21no repsectively.
