The Isle of Man pulled off surprise victories by beating Gibraltar in two Twenty20 matches away from home. The Manx team won the first game by nine wickets, with Castletown's Gareth Morris scoring a stunning century from only 40 balls. In the second game the visitors made 153 runs and dismissed Gibraltar for just 117 to claim the double. In the 50 over match the Isle of Man scored 237 for 5, but Gibraltar got home by five wickets. Ricky Kniveton hit 57 and Morris and Max Stokoe both made 44. Isle of Man Cricket Coach Gareth Dawson said: "We can play at a much higher level and these victories have given us the confidence to achieve that." "We have five under 17s in the squad and have a great chance to rise up the world rankings in the future."
