Guernsey and Jersey have both announced their squads for the forthcoming inter-insular clash on 21 August. Guernsey have recalled GH Smit and Tim Duke, after their absence from the ICC Europe Division Two Championship, with Tim Ravenscroft the other change. Jersey have unveiled a 13-strong squad, which will be led by Peter Gough, with the final XI to be selected after fitness tests. Guernsey defeated Jersey by 21 runs in the 2009 inter insular clash. Guernsey's coach Andy Cornford said: "Selection for this game has been a difficult one which is testament to the level of performances in domestic cricket. "Both Jersey and Guernsey won their respective European Tournaments earlier in the year and this is another opportunity for us to test ourselves in a pressure game."
