Wellington have moved up to fourth in the Birmingham League after beating bottom side Walsall by four wickets. They bowled Walsall out for 117, before reaching 118-6 in the only Premier Division game to beat the rain. In the Shropshire Premier League, Wem moved to within five points of leaders Madeley with a win over Allscott. The game between Madeley and fellow title challengers Much Wenlock was rained off.
