Peel, Crosby B and Valkyres all made winning starts in the Isle of Man's Standard Bank Blincoe Cup on Wednesday evening. Peel bowled out Finch Hill for just 76 runs with Phil Littlejohns taking 3-1 and Russell Miller 2-0. The westerners opening pair of James Seed and Greg Miller then knocked off the runs in only eight overs. Meanwhile, Crosby had a comfortable seven-wicket win over Loaghtyn and Valkyres easily beat Grasshoppers.
