Minor County runners-up Cornwall proved too strong for Jersey in both 50-over friendlies at Grainville. In Saturday's opening match of the season, the visitors scored 300-5, and then restricted Jersey to 161-9. Sunday's match saw Jersey bat first, but again they struggled, reaching only 153-9. In reply, Cornwall lost just one wicket in reaching their target. The domestic season in Jersey starts on Saturday, 24 April with three matches in the Premier League.
