The Isle of Man's Shaun Kelly was named Player of the Tournament

The Isle of Man's under-15 cricket team lost to Italy by 106 runs in the final of the ICC European Division Two Championships in Italy on Friday.

Batting first the Italians recovered from 109-7 to finish on a strong total of 165-8 from their 35-over spell.

The hosts then went to work on the Manx batsmen, and dismissed the Isle of Man for just 59 runs.

The Isle of Man can take consolation from the fact that Italy are ranked two divisions above them.

Meanwhile, Ramsey's Shaun Kelly was named player of the tournament.

The all-rounder finished the tournament with a batting average of 51.75 and a bowling average of 9.58.
