Isle of Man under-19's side defeated Gibraltar by 58 runs on Wednesday to go four points clear in the ICC European Championship, Division Two table. After being put into bat by Gibraltar, the Isle of Man made 134-5 from their 20 overs, with Alex Stokoe top scoring with a excellent 63. The Manx side then dismissed the Gibraltarians for 76 with Shaun Kelly returning figures of 3-13. Earlier on Wednesday the Isle of Man had defeated Israel by 38 runs. Batting first the Manx side made 158-7 from their 20 overs, with Max Stokoe top scoring with a solid 68. In reply, the previously unbeaten Israeli side were bowled out on the last ball of their innings for 120. The Manx side have now won all four of their matches, including victories over Italy and France. All six of the Manx side's opponents in the competition come from Associate Status countries, while the Island is the only side to have the lower Affiliate ranking. The Manx side will now face Germany on Friday.
