The Isle of Man's Max Stokoe cracks a four through the covers

The Isle of Man defeated Israel by 38 runs in Antwerp on Wednesday to go two points clear in the ICC Under-19 European Championship Division Two.

Batting first the Manx side made 158-7 from their 20 overs, with Max Stokoe top scoring with a solid 68.

In reply, the previously unbeaten Israeli side were bowled out on the last ball of their innings for 120.

The Manx outfit have now won all three of their games following memorable wins against Italy and France.

The Isle of Man will now face Gibraltar on Wednesday afternoon.

All six of the Manx sides opponents in the competition come from Associate Status countries, while the island is the only side to have the lower Affiliate ranking.
