Holders Northampton Saints coasted comfortably into the quarter-finals of the Hevey Northamptonshire League's Twenty20 competition on Tuesday. Saints hammered Wellingborough Old Grammarians by 76 runs to book their place in the last eight. Last year's runners-up, Finedon Dolben, squeezed through against Oundle Town by four wickets with two balls to spare. And Burton Latimer saw off Rushden by five wickets after restricting their Premier Division rivals to 96-8. Wellingborough Town enjoyed a decisive 75-run victory over fellow Division One title-chasers Geddington, while Overstone Park put out Earls Barton - from the division above - by 27 runs. The competition reaches its climax with a finals day at Northampton's County Ground in August.
