St Johns lead the Standard Bank Premiership after defeating Ramsey by three wickets with just four balls remaining on Sunday. In-form Eddie Cleator hit 85 and Marc Pons-Burt made 53 as the northerners set a target of 255. The Saints reply started with some trepidation as they slumped to 45-4 but skipper Jon Norrington and Greg Hawke carried them to a three wicket victory. Norrington was undefeated on 85 and Hawke cracked 77. Meanwhile, a Simon Watson century helped Crosby to their first victory of the season against Castletown and Cronkbourne also got off the mark with a 61-run win over the Loaghtyn Rams.
