Ramsey and St John's are setting the early pace in the Standard Bank Premiership after both sides made it two wins out of two on Sunday. Ramsey had a narrow three-wicket win over Cronkbourne at Tromode. The home side set Ramsey a tough target of 196-9 with Max Stokoe hitting 65 and Simon Callister 36. However, is was not enough as Ramsey powered to their target with the impressive Eddie Cleator smashing 61 and skipper Rob Webber adding 36 no. Meanwhile, St John's beat Crosby by 121 runs to maintain their 100% record and newcomers Loaghtyn Rams provided the shock of the day, beating Castletown by 15 runs at King William's College. The win was the Rams' first ever Premiership victory.
