Fell has set his sights on Lincs having a better season than last year

Lincolnshire's director of cricket Mark Fell says he is happy with how their pre-season training is going.

Lincolnshire are looking to retain their Eastern Division title this year and will be aiming for a return to the Minor Counties Championship final.

Fell told BBC Radio Lincolnshire:"We have had a good pre-season of indoor training, but now we have to start the outdoor training.

"It's gone as well as can be expected," added the 48-year-old.

Lincolnshire clinched their third Eastern Division title in seven years last year.

However, they slipped up against Berkshire in the Minor Counties Championship final when they lost sixteen wickets on the final day.
