Romerils simply could not muster enough points to over take SCF in their match at the FB Fields. Batting first they hit 259 for 3 with Ryan Driver getting 115 not out and Jamie Brewster unbeaten on 73. In reply SCF scored 186 for 4, Jersey captain Matt Hague scoring 68 not out and Danny Bertram scoring 63. In Guernsey, Argylls were dismissed for just 93 by Wanderers with Phil Challenger and Mike Savage taking three wickets apiece. Wanderers took just nine and a half overs to reach their target with Ross Kneller scroing 52 not out. Guernsey champions Cobo look favourites for the title after extending their unbeaten record. They bowled out Rovers for just 83 as they won by seven wickets. Back across the water St Ouen's big win over Rovers a fortnight ago gave them enough points to progress at the expense of reigning CI champions Old Victorians. OV's beat St Ouen by 46 runs but it was not enough to reverse their points deficit in the table. Batting first, OV's scored 205 for 9, Peter Gough scoring 46 and Ward Jenner getting 49. Dean Morrison hit 59 as St Ouen replied with a score of 159 for 6.
