Devon are celebrating a return to Lord's after beating Norfolk by 52 runs in the MCCA Knockout Trophy semi-final at Norwich on Sunday. Devon captain Bobby Dawson said he was aiming for a score of around 240, but his side were all out for 190 as Dawson top scored with 77. But opening bowlers Trevor Anning and Ian Bishop reduced Norfolk to 10-3 and played well in the field. Only Jake Nickleborough (75) troubled Devon as Norfolk were all out for 138. "It's excellent, we lost in the semi-final last year. We've been to a few of them and it's the only thing we haven't won since I've been captain so one more win would be nice," Dawson told BBC Radio Devon. Devon will now face Berkshire in the final at Lord's on 6 August after they beat Oxfordshire by seven wickets in Sunday's other semi-final.
