Old Victorians are now 12 points behind second-placed Sporting Club Francais after beating them by four wickets. Sporting Club scored 190-5 in their innings, with island captain Matt Hague scoring 84 not out. But OVs made their target of 191 for just six wickets, Peter Gough getting 51 and Ed Farley scoring 48. Champions and leaders Romerils continue to lead the way with their sixth straight win after beating Springfield by seven wickets. Romerils bowled out Springfield for 72 as Nigel Crocker took four wickets before taking just 17.4 overs to reach their target of 74. Jamie Brewster top scored with 28 not out. Second from bottom St Ouen won the basement battle as they defeated Caesareans by 61 runs. St Ouen were 242-7 as Rob Tewkesbury got 60, Simon Short 53 and Hugo Bishop 38. In reply Caesareans could manage just 181 all out, Peter German with 56 as Bishop took 3-20. Romerils lead the table with 231 points, SCF are second on 182 with Old Victorians third on 170.
