Reigning champions Romerils are now 24 points clear at the top of Jersey's Premier League after beating St Ouen by nine wickets at the FB Fields. St Ouen were all out for 143, Paul Horton top scoring with 52, while Ryan Driver returned astonishing figures of five wickets for just eight runs. Romerils replied on 146-1, Ian Crocker hitting 50 not out, backed by Sean Billson (30) and Driver (42 not out). In the day's other match Old Victorians beat Caesareans by six wickets. Bottom side Caesareans were all out for 128 in 43 overs, thanks chiefly to Peter Gough (3-28) and Sam Dewhurst (3-8). OV's replied on 129-4, Andrew Dewhurst top scoring with 61, backed by Tom Wherry (42). Romerils lead the table with 192 points, Sporting Club Francais are second on 168 and OV's are third on 140. Springfield drop to fourth, St Ouen stay fifth and Caesareans are bottom of the table.
