Champions Romerils stay top of Jersey's Cricket Premier League after getting maximum points in their win over bottom side Caesareans at Grainville.

Caesareans had Dave Gorman to thank in reaching 98, as he hit more than half their total with an unbeaten 52.

Ryan Driver took 4-11 for Romerils, who lost five men in making the 99 needed for victory, John Prince hitting 31, while Kemp took all five wickets.

Sporting Club Francais stay second after beating St Ouen by 35 runs.

Batting first, SCF made 223-6, island captain Matt Hague top-scoring with 54, backed by Steve Carlyon's 47 not out, Phil Ramage (33) and Meeku Patidar (30).

St Ouen were well in the frame for a win at 130-1. And, with seven wickets remaining, they still required a very gettable 81. But they fell away to finish on 178-9, of which Dean Morrison made 89, while Steve Carlyon took 5-30.

Old Victorians stay third after beating Springfield by 131 runs.

Peter Gough and Chris Jones both scored 66 and Sam Dewhurst made 44 as OV's reached 268-7 as Simon Parker took 5-46.

In reply, Springfield could only manage 137 all out, rolled out by Andrew Dewhurst who took 6-26, including the first hat-trick of the season.

Springfield's Jack Fearon made 46 not out.
