Lincolnshire stars catch the eye

Some of Lincolnshire's star performers could soon get the chance to impress in Nottinghamshire's second 11.

Lincolnshire have made an impressive star to the season winning five of their six matches.

Bowler Andy Carter, who got a three-month contract with Notts earlier this year, could now be joined by captain Rob Cook and batsmen Martyn Dobson.

Director of cricket Mark Fell told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "This might be a bit of a downfall for us."

He continued: "But then again it is also great for the lads we can't hold them back and if they go there, who knows.

"But what they have got to do is perform at this level first, before they go on to that level and then we will see what goes on there."
