Cobo and Wanderers kept up their winning ways ahead of their top of the table showdown next Saturday in the Guernsey Cricket Championship. Leaders Cobo got maximum points after bottom of the table Optimists forfeited their match at the KGV on Saturday. Meanwhile Wanderers cruised past Elizabeth College at the College Field by six wickets. Chris Whitworth got 83 as College scored 167-7 before Wanderers got their target of 168-4 in 30.2 overs. Ben Taylor scored 72 not out for Wanderers and Spencer Noyan hit 56. The biggest win of the weekend saw Rovers draw level with the College in third place after thrashing Argyll Investments by 181 runs at Port Soif. Rovers amassed 263-4 in their innings, with Richard Headington getting 108 and GH Smit hitting 66. In reply Stuart Bisson and Jack Byrne each took fourth wickets as Argyll were skittled out for just 82.
