Wanderers were the only side to win in the Guernsey cricket Championship this weekend after beating Argyll Investments by 128 runs on Sunday. Argyll had reduced Wanderers to 89 for 6, but they recovered to reach 194 all out in 44.5 overs. Ross Kneller hit 94 while Justin Meades took 4 for 33 for Argyll. In reply Argyll were bowled out for just 68 inside 21 overs. Meades scored 32, with Ben Taylor taking 5 for 27 and Mike Savage 4 for 7. Saturday's matches were all called off after rain during the first innings. Rovers had reached 138 for 7 against Cobo, while Optimists were 55 for 3 against Elizabeth College before play was abandoned.
