Cobo continued their title charge with a 225 run win over Optimists

Guernsey cricket champions Cobo inflicted a humiliating 225-run defeat on Optimists at the KGV on Sunday.

Batting first, Cobo scored 312-6, Jeremy Frith top-scoring, with his second century in successive matches.

In reply the champions skittled Optimists for 87 to ensure Cobo claimed maximum points for the second week running.

The weekend's other match on Saturday between Argyll Investment and Rovers was called off after heavy rain.
