Norfolk player-coach Chris Brown will take his side to Grantham |
Norfolk will have to travel to Lincolnshire in the quarter-finals of the MCCA Knockout Trophy. Staffordshire beat Suffolk in the final group game to finish top and clinch home advantage in the last eight. Norfolk's second-placed finish means they will play at Grantham on Wednesday, 18 June. Staffs beat holders Suffolk by 150 runs after bowling them all out for just 62 at Mildenhall to move to within two wins of a Lord's final. Norfolk won three of their four group matches, losing the other to Staffordshire. They have won the competition three times in the past 11 years, beating Shropshire (1997), Devon (2001) and Wiltshire (2005) in the finals.
