Bangladesh suffer wash-out
Tour match, Kwekwe:
Bangladesh 96-5 v Zimbabwe A

Match abandoned due to rain

Bangladesh's only warm-up match before their one-day series against Zimbabwe was abandoned because of rain.

In the 28.3 overs possible, Zimbabwe A reduced the tourists to 96-5, with seamer Gary Brent taking 3-19.

Bangladesh captain Habibul Bashar was struck on the forearm but x-rays showed no break and he is expected to be fit for Saturday's one-day international.

His predecessor Khaled Mahmud is to join the tourists after being persuaded to go back on his decision to retire.

Bashar scored 13, his highest total in five innings on tour so far, while Rajin Saleh led the way with 28 not out.
