Zimbabwe and Bangladesh endured another wash-out on Sunday as the second one-day international was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
The field remained unfit for play in the wake of a thunderstorm on Friday night and rain on Saturday morning.
Friday's opening match was also ruined by rain but the series now moves to Harare for three more matches.
The second Test between the two teams was also rain-hit, handing Bangladesh just their second draw in 28 matches.
Zimbabwe named a squad of 14 for the one-day international series.
Fast bowler Andy Blignaut is back after a thigh strain. He achieved Zimbabwe's first ever Test hat-trick in the first Test in Harare.
Medium pacer Gary Brent is included but there is only one specialist opening batsman in Dion Ebrahim.
Bangladesh has added all-rounder Khaled Mahmud, the former captain, to replace Alok Kapali.
The series provides another opportunity for current skipper Habibul Bashar to find form. His tour scores have been 10, 0, 0, 0, 12 and 13 not out (retired hurt).
